Novicell gets new investor

Novicell ApS, a Danish Internet company based in Aarhus, announced on 22 September 2011 that Poul Thyregod had acquired 30 % of Novicell and at the same time has been appointed to the company’s board of directors.

Novicell is a web-development firm concentrating on software development, online marketing and hosting. It was founded ten years ago and has today app 33 employees.

Poul Thyregod has experience within the Danish e-commerce market. He founded the e-commerce firm Proshop. In 2007 he sold one third of the shares in Proshop to the Danish electronics retail group Expert. In March 2011 Proshop took over the Danish competitor Midtdata.

The terms of the share acquisition by Poul Thyregod have not been disclosed. However, the shares have been acquired from the two previous and continuing owners of Novicell, Per Kirchner and Ole Pedersen.
