Morten Helveg Petersen of the Det Radikale Venstre (The Danish Social Liberal Party) is one the few Danish Members of Parliament let alone Danish politicians in general who care about IT policy and who commands sufficient knowledge about the subject to form informed and reasonable opinions.

Even though I consider myself independent of party politics I often meet with Morten to discuss IT policy issues. One of these meetings was today Wednesday 7 May 2003 at Christiansborg – the Danish parliament.
