Careitec A/S, a Danish IT-service company with offices in Horsens, Aalborg and Copenhagen has announced (in Danish) that as of 1 May 2012 it has acquired  JyskPC A/S, a smaller Danish supplier of IT-solutions to SMEs also based in Horsens.

Former co-owner and director of JyskPC, Torben Nielsen Angles, will stay on at Careitec in charge of commercial and technical integration of the approx. 100 JyskPC customers into the Careitec set-up.

The acquisition seem to be only the latest sign in a continuing consolidation of suppliers of Microsoft based solutions to Danish SMEs, a market that is becoming increasingly competitive due both the advent of cloud based solution and open source alternatives.
