On 12 October 2011 it was announced that EG A/S had acquired Thy Data A/S and Dynaway A/S, thus EG A/S completing the sixth acquisition of Scandinavian firms this year.

EG A/S is a Danish IT service company specialised in developing and providing industry related IT solutions, in particular solutions for vertical industries based on dynamics NAV, dynamics AX, SAP and the in-house developed ASPECT field solution. EG is owned by the private equity firm Nordic Capital, and in 2010 EG had a turnover of more than DKK 1b and more than 1,000 employees in offices in Scandinavia.

Thy Data A/S is an IT project company delivering solutions based on dynamics AX and C5. Dynaway A/S is a software development company also with focus on dynamics AX and C5.

The acquisition will create one of the leading dynamics AX development companies in the world, and the number one company on the Danish market for business solutions involving dynamics AX.
