Endomondo, a Danish web-app startup, has raised a further USD 2.3m in funding from existing investor SEED Capital.
Endomondo was launched in September 2008 and provides a sports-tracker that enables users of smartphones with GPS to have a full-fledged personal trainer and a social training partner. Endomondo competes in a fierce market for fitness apps with among others RunKeeper.
The USD 2.3m new funds follow a previous investment by SEED Capital of USD 800,000 in March 2011.
